Stephanie Marsh

COM-P Director of Clinical Research

Stephanie Marsh is the Director of Clinical Research for the University of Arizona College of Medicine Phoenix. She oversees all clinical research that is conducted at Banner University Medical Center Phoenix. Stephanie began her clinical research career in 2008 at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center where she managed patients enrolled in epilepsy clinical trials as a clinical research coordinator. In 2015, she moved to Banner University Medical Center - Phoenix where she continued to coordinate epilepsy research while also branching out to oversee wound, lung, and liver clinical research studies. In 2018 she joined the University of Arizona as a Research Manager. As the Director of Clinical research, Stephanie helps with startup of both Investigator Initiated studies as well as Industry Sponsored trials. She currently has oversight of research within the Departments of Internal Medicine, Radiology, Family Medicine, and Neurology/Neurosurgery. Stephanie’s role is to provide assistance to UA Faculty and trainees and assist with early feasibility assessments, contracting/budgeting, and operationalizing studies once IRB approved. In June 2023, she joined the RECOVER initiative and oversees study operations of the Phoenix site. Stephanie graduated from Arizona State University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and from the University of Arizona in 2021 with a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology.
