Lupita Rodriguez
Lupita completed her Associate of Liberal Arts at Pima Community College in 2024 and is on her way to completing a bachelor’s in psychology. Her experience in research began at Mariposa Community Health Center with the All of Us Research Program in 2019 and shortly after surviving a near fatal car accident. She has a background in public health and community health work but became interested in growing within the field of research. After taking on the position of lead coordinator, she made the switch over to the RECOVER Study team, where she is excited to help her native Nogales home community participate in research as well as learning from the diversity that Tucson has to offer. She is passionate about helping people and fighting for health equity in rural areas and hopes to help improve this in the future. Lupita enjoys writing as a hobby, taking nature walks, and learning how to cook new things.
