Raelyn McGarry
Raelyn is a Clinical Research Coordinator on the RECOVER Study at University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix. She graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Philosophy from Elon University. During her time at Elon, she assisted Dr. Shefali Christoper on the research project, Elon Runs, which explored the biomechanical and musculoskeletal differences between postpartum runners and nulliparous runners. Raelyn went on to present findings related to the differences in running kinematics when running after childbirth at both the local and national levels. She joined the University of Arizona after working as a medical assistant at Arizona Dermatology.
Since moving to Arizona in 2022 from her home state of Virginia, she has enjoyed spending time outside, traveling to new cities, and attending concerts/sporting events. She has become a Phoenix Mercury fan and escapes the heat of the summer by attending as many games as possible.
